Abby Kelso (they/them) is a circus artist, director, and producer from Brisbane. Circus has changed Abby’s life, and given them the strength and confidence to be unapologetically themselves.
They are passionate about representation of LGBTQIA+ performers and making art accessible for all. To that end, in 2019 they started an entertainment agency, Sparkle Society, with their longtime business partner, Latonya Wigginton. Sparkle Society works with over 30 artists in Brisbane, and most recently has taken their full-length show Cab Suave on tour around
Australia.
Abby loves all things sparkly and fun, working as a face painter and balloon twister as well. When they're not hanging upside down you can find them going for a swim or coaxing the neighbourhood cats into letting them pat them ??♥?
